Hanbok Skirt by HS68 + Anna Rosen
$950.00

Each garment is handmade to order, inspired by the tradition of bespoke tailoring. Due to the artisanal process, garment completion can take 3–4 weeks, ensuring every stitch reflects our heritage and care. Please note that custom fabric and color options are available. Base price will differ depending on custom specifications. Inquire using the custom button above.

The garment is constructed with hand-marbled organza silk in collaboration with artist Anna Rosen. An exploration of pattern featuring our signature High Society blue invites elements of play into this cultural garment. A simultaneous case study of design and pattern, origin and diaspora. This project is both a preservation and development of the Korean cultural wear traditionally adorned with bright, solid colors.

"OCTOPUS GARDEN"

A four color pattern study.
Floating the paint then transferring onto silk.

The voluminous "chima" skirt is characterized by its elegant bell shape.

Hanbok is the name of traditional Korean dress, translating to "Korean clothes". Hanbok are historically cut and sewn flat, avoiding unnecessary textile waste. A soft flow of lines and angles guide the eye through the architectural beauty and curvature of this rich composition.
