Our partnership with Cathy Hahn has evolved into a true creative collaboration, one that transcends the confines of traditional tailoring. By combining Cathy’s visionary styling with our technical expertise, we transform every concept into a striking reality. This shared commitment to innovation allows us to explore bold concepts while maintaining the precision and quality that defines High Society.
When Cathy and our atelier worked on Orville Peck’s 2022 Rodeo tour wardrobe, we crafted an embellished silver vest and matching pants that embodied Peck’s enigmatic stage presence. Cathy provided the designs and we translated them into a shimmering thread set against a sleek metallic fabric. The result was a two-piece garment that featured an array of shimmering beads with refined metallic stitching, reflecting both Cathy’s styling vision and our bespoke execution.

For John C. Reilly’s portrayal of Dewey Cox in Walk Hard, Cathy specified an ivory suit with a black sparkling shawl lapel and matching cuffs, accented by a black cursive “D” embroidered on the front of the suit jacket. We sourced a luxurious ivory wool blend and integrated the black shimmering fabric into both the shawl lapel and cuffs of the suit jacket as well. Every stitch and embroidered detail was executed in-house, reinforcing our belief that costume and character are inseparable.
Our work with Cathy has also led us to construct multiple looks for Post Malone, including his standout ensembles at the 2018 and 2019 American Music Awards. Whether it was the bold pink shawl-lapel tuxedo or a sharply tailored suit accented with custom embellishments, Cathy’s vision and our craftsmanship combined seamlessly.
